PROJECT
Recommended Action: RECOMMENDATION

Staff last presented potential sites owned throughout the City on March 5, 2026. During that meeting, multiple sites were reviewed based on size and proximity to transportation and other services. The property that seemed to have the most potential for greatest impact to families in need of stable transitional housing is located at 9602 Thorton Road. This property is just over five acres and is surrounded by residential and a gathering hall, all of which indicate that utilities are adjacent. Staff have continued to work on the next steps and will share current progress on what it will take to activate the site.
