STOCKTON CITY COUNCIL
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO CITY COUNCIL POLICY MANUAL CHAPTER 4.06, ROLES AND RULES SECTION 5 – ADDRESSING THE COUNCIL Chapter 4.06 Roles and Rules Section 5 – Addressing the Council provides general rules for participating in Public Comment; and On March 19, 2026, the Council Legislation/Environmental Committee reviewed the policy, and provided direction to staff for amendments; and Committee directed amendments were made and on May 18, 2026, the Council Legislation/Environmental Committee voted to forward a recommendation to Council; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STOCKTON, AS FOLLOWS:
City Council approves the proposed amendments to City Council Policy 4.06 entitled “Roles and Rules;” attached hereto as “Exhibit 1.” The City Manager is hereby authorized to take appropriate and necessary actions to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
