RapidView IBAK inspection camera equipment Is used to in sewer pipelines by MUD staff to evaluate and inspect pipeline operational and physical heath in conjunction with industry standard software. Tlie i MLID currently operate 4 IBAK camera systems using 3 specialized trucks, which are used for routine, preventative inspections, as well as emergency inspections. The City-owned IBAK camera systems periodically need off-site specialized maintenance and repair services.
2. Why is this procurement restricted to this good/service supplier? The IBAK inspection camera system parts and service are exclusively provided by Municipal Maintenance Equipment for the California and Nevada region. 3 2-(o3

3. Describe the uniqueness of the procurement.
The RapidView IBAK camera systems and service trucks were determined to be the best in class, and initially procured through a co-operative contract. The camera systems are attachments to the specialized service trucks. The camera systems require specialized repair parts and service which Is done off-site.
4. What are the consequences of not purchasing the good(s) and/or service or contracting with the proposed supplier? Provide any applicable documentation to support your statements.
In order to maintain proper operation, the MUD's owned and operated equipment must be repaired in accordance with the manufacturer's specified parts and service. Municipal Maintenance Equipment is the sole source for IBAK pipeline inspection equipment, parts, and service in the state of California.

The RapidView IBAK equipment is exclusively repaired by Municipal Maintenance Equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
