2 22-0157 Review and Recommendation of Public Art for Civic Center Amphitheater
There is no staff recommendation for this project. Pursuant to the Art in Public Places procedures, the Arts Commission should rank the proposals and develop a recommendation to City Council for consideration and final approval. The selected conceptual design will be further developed with oversight from staff to meet the Art in Public Places guidelines within the allocated budget.
Trenton Hill, Recreation Services Manager, introduced the Civic Center Amphitheater public art finalists. Highlights included: project background, number of applicants, conceptual ideas, and project timeline.
Staff conducted a voice vote and the final rank is as follows:

4. Laura Haddad
5. Shan Shan Sheng
Motion: Approve the Civic Center Amphitheater public artists as presented.
