LUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SUNNYVALE AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 190 -05,
THE CITY’S SALARY RESOLUTION, TO CHANGE THE
BARGAINING UNIT AND INCREASE THE SALARY FOR
THE SENIOR TRAFFIC ENGINEER CLASSIFICATION
WHER
EAS, Human Resources staff has recommended a reclassification of the Senior Traffic Engineer classification , changing the position’s bargaining unit from the Sunnyvale Employees’ Association (SEA)/IFPTE Local 21 to Sunnyvale Managers’ Association (SMA) and increasing the salary accordingly; and
WHE
REAS, Human Resources has met and conferred with the bargaining units over the proposed changes to the Senior Traffic Engineer classification; and WHE
REAS, the City Council having considered such proposals and recommendations desires to approve the proposed changes by amending the City’s Salary Resolution.
NOW, T
HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SUNNYVALE THAT:
1. Res
olution No. 190- 05 (the City’s Salary Resolution) is hereby amended by updating the schedule of pay (salary table) for the Senior Traffic Engineer by changing the bargaining unit and associated pay category and rates as set forth in Exhibit A, attached and incorporated by reference, effective the pay period including April 3, 2022.
2. All
other provisions of Resolution No. 190- 05 shall remain in full force and effect.
