OLAF BREUNING: HEADSARTWORK LOCATION
While Block 3 is under construction, the developer would like to temporarily place the Heads sculptures on the lawn at the southwest corner of McKinley
Avenue and Aries Way. The sculptures will nod to passersby as they move along this important artery of CityLine into the heart of Downtown Sunnyvale.
After the completion of Block 3, the developer would like to intersperse the Heads sculptures among the redwoods, possibly extending up to the Frances archway. In this configuration, the sculptures would reflect and amplify the natural environment and provide a dynamic mode of engagement in the park. The locations, landscaping and lighting for this permanent relocation of the sculptures will be submitted for approval prior to installation.
