A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SUNNYVALE AMENDING RESOLUTION NOS. 143-77
AND 1151-22, TO ADD A NEW CLASSIFICATION OF
PRINCIPAL PAYROLL ANALYST TO THE
CLASSIFICATION PLAN OF THE CIVIL SERVICE, AND
TO AMEND THE CITY’S SALARY RESOLUTION TO
UPDATE THE SCHEDULE OF PAY TO INCLUDE THAT
CLASSIFICATION
WHEREAS, at the request of the Department of Finance, Human Reso urces staff has proposed an amendment to the Classification Plan of th e Civil Service of the City of Sunnyvale to add the classificatio n of “Principal Payroll An alyst" and update the salary schedule to add the salary for the position; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered such proposals and r ecommendations and wishes to approve the amendment to the Classification Plan of the Civil Service and make corresponding changes to the City’s Salary Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SUNNYVALE THAT:
1. The City Council hereby approves an amendment to the Classification Plan of the Civil Service as follows:
a. Add the classification of “Principal Payroll Analyst” (6835).
2. Except as herein modified, the Classification Plan, Resolution No. 143-77, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect.
3. Resolution No. 1151-22 (the City’s Salary Resolution) is hereby amended by adding the classification title and pay rates as set forth in Exhibit A, in the schedule of pay (salary table), attached and incorporated by reference, to implement the changes described in this resolution on the effective dates noted in Exhibit A. Except as herein modified, Resolution No. 1151-22, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect.
