On February 9, 2023, the City Selection Committee (CSC) of Santa Clara County voted to nominate Mayor Larry Klein of Sunnyvale to Seat 09 on the Santa Clara County A Measure A (2016 Housing Bond) Independent Citizen's Oversight Committee. Mayor Klein will fulfill the rest of the term expiring February 10, 2025 which was recently vacated by Glenn Hendricks since he is no longer in office.
Seat 09 is a Board-As-A-Whole appointment initiated by the Board President, with the qualifying criteria being that the “nominee shall be a representative of the Santa Clara County Cities
Association and nominated by the Cities Association.”
