Consider Approval of Draft 2024 Housing and Urban
Development (HUD) Action Plan
Housing Officer Jenny Carloni introduced the item and new Housing Programs Analyst, Matthew Hazel who provided the staff report.
Mr. Hazel, Officer Carloni and Homeless Services Manager Amanda Sztoltz answered questions from commissioners.
Chair Duncan opened the public hearing at 8:07 p.m.
Aris Roque asked what are some things that citizens can do to help.

Staff encouraged the public to continue to engage and participate in meetings and public hearings during this process.
Chair Duncan closed the public hearing at 8:09 p.m.
After a lengthy discussion and additional questions of staff, Chair Duncan asked for a motion.
MOTION: Commissioner Weiss moved and Commissioner Davis seconded the motion to Alternative 1: Recommend that the City Council approve the 2024 HUD Action Plan as shown in Attachment 2 of the staff report.
The motion carried by the following vote:
