Chair Kunz called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. in the Bay Conference Room (Room 145) at City Hall.

Vice Chair Veitch invited Briana Horta, Management Analyst in the Office of Sustainability for the County of Santa Clara, and Jasneet Sharma, Director of the Office of Sustainability for the County of Santa Clara, to provide an overview and update on the County’s Youth Climate Initiative Program. 24-0474 Climate Action Playbook Update: 2022 GHG Inventory and Progress Update
Christina Raby, Environmental Engineering Coordinator, presented the 2022 Greenhouse Gas Inventory results and provided Climate Action Playbook progress updates. Commissioners asked clarifying questions, and staff provided answers.

March 18, 2024Sustainability Commission Meeting Minutes as well as attend other Earth Day events happening in the County. Commissioner Wickham reminded Commissioners of the March 19, 2024, City Council Study Session on Draft Game Plan 2028.
Chair Kunz echoed Commissioner Wickham’s announcement about the March 19 City Council Study Session on Draft Game Plan 2028 and encouraged Commissioners to attend and participate in the public comment period. -Staff Comments
