2City of Sunnyvale – Lakewood Park Renovation Project – September 2023 Background
• In February 2018, Council directed staff to evaluate installation of Wi-Fi at parks as part of major park renovation projects.
• Wi-Fi installation costs are not included in any park renovation budgets. • If Wi-Fi is added now, one-time capital costs for construction and ongoing operating costs for service and maintenance would be needed.
