A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SUNNYVALE AMENDING RESOLUTION NOS. 143-77
AND 1151-22, THE CITY’S CLASSIFICATION PLAN AND
SALARY RESOLUTION, TO ADD THE CLASSIFICATION
OF PUBLIC SAFETY DISPATCHER-LATERAL AND
MAKE CORRESPONDING CHANGES TO THE
SCHEDULE OF PAY
WHEREAS, Human Resources staff has proposed an amendment to the Classification Plan of the Civil Service of the City of Sunnyvale to add the newly established job classification of Public Safety Dispatcher-Lateral and amend the Schedule of Pay in the City’s Salary Resolution to establish the salary for the new classification; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered such proposals and recommendations and wishes to approve the amendment to the Classification Plan of the Civil Service and make corresponding changes to the City’s Salary Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SUNNYVALE THAT:
1. The City Council herby approves an amendment to the Classification Plan to add the classification of Public Safety Dispatcher-Lateral (4501).
2. Except as herein modified, the Classification Plan, Resolution No. 143-77, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect.
3. Resolution No. 1151-22 is hereby amended to add the classification and pay rates for Public Safety Dispatcher-Lateral, as set forth in Exhibit “A,” attached and incorporated by reference, to implement the changes described in this resolution on the effective date noted in Exhibit A.
4. All other provisions of Resolution No. 1151-22 shall remain in full force and effect.
