Commissioner McManis motioned to nominate Chair Johnson to continue to serve as Chair. Chair Johnson motioned to nominate Commissioner Garrett.

STANDING ITEM: CONSIDERATION OF POTENTIAL STUDY ISSUES
Final Month to Propose Study Issues
Commissioner McManis proposed a study issue of Historical Impacts of Sunnyvale on the nation and world.
Senior Planner Momoko Ishijima commented that the subject may need to be focused. The Technological Innovations study issue is currently studying post-war technological impacts of Sunnyvale. Councilmember Mehlinger spoke that the study issue to revise the Historical Context Statement to include contributions by Asian Americans and other minorities may be related. A vote was not made on the study issue proposal.
