I am motivated by the opportunity to inform and share with my community the knowledge I could gain if I have the chance to be part of this Commission. I also recognize the great need within the Latino community in North Sunnyvale regarding access to decent housing.
What skills or attributes can you bring to this board or commission? I consider one of my greatest attributes to be the ability to share my knowledge with others and provide the most accurate information I have, considering my years of work experience in group management and leadership. Additionally, I make it a priority to listen to all perspectives in line with the responsibilities of the Housing and Human Services Commission.

- Listen to all community members regarding their concerns related to housing and the social services the city provides to its residents. - Based on the perspectives shared by the city's residents, recommend to the council the adoption of programs and initiatives that can help address concerns related to accessibility, equity, and inclusion, as well as programs that fulfill the social development required by the city, targeting all communities, such as youth, seniors, and people with disabilities.

How have your actions benefited these communities?
My involvement in organizing the First Ibero-American Festival held in the city of Sunnyvale included a Latino community that had been unintentionally marginalized for years by previous administrations.
Additionally, I worked on educating the senior community in the City of East Palo Alto, focusing on programs for early identification of dementia symptoms.
