Why do we plan?
A few milestones in Sunnyvale
Just Imagine
• “Planning” and not considering how
changing land uses will affect
use of the library or recreation services, or
that the streets may need to support more
transportation (including vehicles, pedestrians
and bicycles), or
the need for water and sewer treatment
capability, or
access to jobs.
• Imagine
not having talented staff to implement the
adopted policies for a desirable community or
not having funding to carry out projects.
