The Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce was noted as having no staff recommendation for funding of the 2026 Art and Wine Festival, because they may be earning revenue for the event based on the event budget submitted.

Applications
Member Srinivasan moved and Member Cisneros seconded the motion to recommend funding levels outlined in the 2026 recommended funding summary tables be submitted to Council for final approval, with the note that the Chamber will be evaluating how their fundraising goes and could re-apply in the Spring.
Chair Sell stated that she would be abstaining from the vote on this item because she is a member of the Presbyterian Church, which has submitted a funding application for an event. While she is not legally required to abstain, she feels that participating in the vote would present a conflict of interest given this connection.
