What new information about your Since last two years, I have been teaching a 4-days session to qualifications would you like read the construction drawings and interpret construction Council to know? technologies to a group of contractors , project manage rs and builders . As we have a shortage of housing and with the current situat ion in the country , we are having a shortage of skilled contractors . This new skill I have acquired is helping me in the role of Planning Commission and vice versa too .
I also keep updating myself on various successful projects across US cities, especially Mixed use and Village center with Housing etc .

I would like to promote and help Sunnyvale residents to have public goods. Sunnyvale city and the council are leading in its policy to improve the quality of life along with its economic development, I would like to support as a planning commissioner.
I also bring a perspective of India communities and could understand and communicate to the appropriate projects. Having background as an Urban Designer and as an architect, I could push the building materials and related standards to the developers in appropriate projects. Having background as an environmental committee from past, I also am aware of the quality of green spaces on the city. As a Vice chair, I am learning to make findings and conditions to understand and add and negotiate to make the city better with the new developments. For the next term, I feel that I could become an efficient and better planning commissioner and also promote the council members vision and policy.

I also want to serve the next term because I do appreciate our council and each and everyone's value and commitment. It is an honor to work in this role where i feel proud and learn from all our residents and city staff too!
