Living in Sunnyvale for more than 10 years and having a background in architecture and urban regeneration, I am very interested in in my home town - Sunnyvale's planning and I am ready to get involved and influence in order to serve our community.

I have a background in architecture and urban planning - specifically in urban regeneration, and am very interested in those subjects.

redevelopment of existing
developed areas. How can
Planning respond to this
situation?
The planning should take in account all aspect of redevelopment - the influence on infrastructure, traffic, density, education health etc when deciding on redevelopment and make sure they were all taken in account.
Planning Commissioners are
often asked to consider social,
economic and environmental
issues when reviewing proposals.
How do we achieve a balanced
community?
We need to make sure that specific communities are not getting pushed out from Sunnyvale if we want to achieve and maintain a balanced community.

What do you see as the greatest
land use challenges facing the

addressing them?
I think that the greatest land use challenges is lack of housing while maintaining the quality of life and avoid traffic and congestions when increasing density.
