A R E S O L U T I O N O F T H E C I T Y C O U N C I L O F T H E C I T Y O F SUNNYVALE AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 1151-22, THE CITY’S
SALARY RESOLUTION, BY AMENDING THE PAY SCHEDULE FOR
PAY PLAN CATEGORY L (CLASSIFIED REGULAR PART-TIME
EMPLOYEES REPRESENTED BY THE SERVICE EMPLOYEES’
INTERNATIONAL UNION)
WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with Service Employees’ International Union, which represents classified regular part-time employees (Pay Plan Category L), expires on June 30, 2026; and
WHEREAS, a Tentative Agreement was reached on June 8, 2026, for a successor MOU with a term from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2030; and WH E R E A S , c o n sist e n t w it h t h e t e r m s o f t h e n e w M O U , t h e Cit y d e s ir e s t o a m e n d t h e City’s salary resolution for classified regular part-time employees represented by Service Employees’ International Union (Pay Plan Category L).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SUNNYVALE THAT:
1. Resolution No. 1151-22 is hereby amended to update the pay rates for Pay Plan Category L as set forth in Exhibit “A,” attached and incorporated by reference.
2. All other provisions of Resolution No. 1151-22 shall remain in full force and effect.
3. The Salary Resolution amendments and pay rates noted above shall be effective on the dates noted in Exhibit A.
