Mayor Schuster called the meeting to order at 4:00PM.

4. Business from the Floor: No comments.
5. New Business:
5.A. 2026 Election items including the certification of the Canvass of Votes by the County Clerk - Consider Resolution No. 26-6555, reciting the facts of the general municipal election held on June 2, 2026, declaring the result and such other matters as provided by law.
Heidi Whitlock, City Clerk, provided an explanation of the item and requested Council approval of Resolution No. 26-6555.

AYES: Mayor Mendy Schuster, Council Member Patrick Parrish, Council Member Curtis Bortle, Council Member Dawn Miller
NAYS: None
RESULT: Passed
Ms. Whitlock invited Mendy Schuster to the floor for the swearing in of another four-year term.
Ms. Whitlock then invited Gerry Hibbitts to the floor for the swearing in of a four-year term.
Ms. Whitlock requested nominations for Mayor.
Motion by Council Member Miller, second by Council Member Parrish, for Mendy Schuster to remain as Mayor. Motion passed.
Ms. Whitlock then requested nominations for Mayor pro tem.
Motion by Council Member Parrish, second by Mayor Schuster, for Dawn Miller to be appointed Mayor pro tem. Motion passed.
