Per the prior agreement, in April of 2022, the City paid four hundred and fifty dollars ($450) per meeting with one hundred and fifty dollars ($150) per meeting for livestreaming equipment. With the 10% increase the new amounts will be four hundred and ninety-five ($495) per meeting and one hundred and sixty-five ($165) for livestreaming equipment.

The agreement also includes a 2,250 square-foot access easement to the site.

The agreement provides the City with $18,000 in annual lease revenue while supporting the Middle-Mile Broadband Initiative’s goal of expanding open-access broadband infrastructure to unserved and underserved communities. California Department of Technology is also including a $2,000 signing bonus. The previously approved agreement and the proposed agreement are attached.
