COMMITTEE BUSINESS
1. Old Town Parking Study — City staff discussed the recently completed Old Town Parking Technology White Paper. The document analyzed six technological options for capturing parking data within Old Town. Staff was directed to obtain a pilot program proposal for utilizing in -pavement sensors. The proposal will be presented to the subcommittee once received.
2. Old Town Parklets Project — City staff discussed the status of the Old Town Parklets Project and requested feedback from the subcommittee on project goals, parklet locations, and design themes. The subcommittee was supportive in creating custom designed parklets and is requesting feedback from the community to help evaluate locations in Old Town. City staff was directed to move forward with a community workshop and a pilot program will be discussed in a future subcommittee meeting.
