COMMITTEE BUSINESS
1. Old Town Parklets Project — City staff and consultants provided a summary of the October 11, 2023 community workshop, shared cost estimates, and requested feedback from the subcommittee on parklet locations, design, and themes for a pilot program. The subcommittee recommended two pilot parklet locations: (1) Old Town Front Street and (2) On a side street possibly in front of Pennypickle's or on 5th Street to connect with the creek trail. The subcommittee determined that the pilot parklets will include seating and family-friendly amenities with an Old Town historic design.
