COMMITTEE BUSINESS
1. Park Trash Enclosures and Portable Restrooms Update — Staff provided an update that Long Creek Canyon Park and Vail Ranch Park have been awarded construction for modular restrooms. Staff also reported suitability of portable restrooms at various park locations, cost estimates and servicing requirements. The subcommittee expressed their concern for placement of portable restrooms in parks lacking parking lots in residential areas and recommended for staff to perform outreach with communities impacted by these restrooms. The subcommittee approved portable restroom placement at Serena Hills and Butterfield Stage Road Parks, recommended for staff to defer restroom placement at Nicolas Road Park, continue investigation of optimal restroom locations and follow up in a few months before the next Capital Improvement Project. Staff is still compiling an analysis on trash enclosures and will come back with a detailed overview of parks that have uncovered trash enclosures.
ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 4:23 PM.
