ROLL CALL AT 1:00 PM: Alexander, Kalfus, Rahn, Schwank, Stewart PUBLIC COMMENT ON CLOSED SESSION -None
CLOSED SESSION
PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT. The City Council convened in closed session pursuant to Government Code Section 54957(b) to discuss and act on appointment and employment for the position of City Manager and pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6 for the unrepresented position of City Manager with City's designated representative the City Attorney.
Following the closed session the City Attorney announced that in closed session the City Council voted 5-0 to appoint Luke Watson as City Manager following the retirement of Aaron Adams. Council will consider the terms of an employment agreement with Mr. Watson at a later public City Council meeting.
ADJOURNMENT
At 3:00 PM,the City Council special meeting was formally adjourned to Tuesday,July 28,2026,at 2:00 PM for Closed S-ssion, with regular session commencing at 3:00 PM, City Council Chambers, 41000 Main Street, ,-s -cula, Cal'fornia.
