COMMITTEE BUSINESS
1. Discuss Landscape Re-Design for Fountain Planter in Town Square Park— Staff shared a draft concept of re-designing the landscape for the fountain planter in Town Square Park. The concept would replace the current rose bushes with California native species. Subcommittee was supportive of bringing the concept forward to the full Council
2. Discuss Plans for New Year's Eve 2026— Staff provided four options for reimagining the New Year's Eve Grape Drop. Subcommittee was in favor of relocating the event from the Civic Center to the Promenade Mall and exploring the option of hosting a standalone holiday event in Old Town. Subcommittee would like to bring the concepts to the full Council for further discussion.
