A. APPROVAL OF LETTER IN SUPPORT CONCERNING LOS ANGELES COUNTY
SHERIFF DEPARTMENT VACANCIES AND FUNDING
The City Council is requested to approve a letter be sent to Supervisor Kathryn Barger supporting additional resources for Sheriff Deputy Training Academies to close the gap with vacancies in the Department.
Recommendation: The City Council is requested to approve the attached letter and authorize it to be sent to Los
Angeles County Board Supervisor Kathryn Barger
