RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF THOUSAND OAKS REVISING CITY COUNCIL
MEETING SCHEDULE FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2023 AND
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 2023-003
WHEREAS, the City Council shall set an annual City Council meeting calendar to establish dates and times assisting City Council and staff with advance planning and scheduling of City business; and
WHEREAS, on February 14, 2023, City Council adopted Resolution No. 2023- 003 setting the City Council meeting schedule for 2023 which now needs to be revised; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1-8.101 of the Municipal Code, the following calendar is established notwithstanding scheduling of additional meetings as required upon proper notice under the Brown Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Thousand Oaks does resolve as follows:
Section 1. The City Council hereby establishes 5:00 p.m. as the regular meeting time for each regular meeting. However, only closed sessions may be held between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. No closed session of the regular meeting will be held during that time period unless the posted agenda of the regular meeting indicates that such closed session will take place at a particular time in that time period. Therefore, in the absence of such notification on the agenda, the open session portion of the regular meeting shall commence at 6:00 p.m.
Section 2. The City Council establishes the following meeting schedule for Calendar Year 2023:
