A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF THOUSAND OAKS APPROVING
COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT NO. 07-5302 WITH
THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION FOR THE COMPLETION OF
PROJECT INITIATION DOCUMENT (PID) FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF SEPARATED CLASS IV BIKE
LANES AND PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT, CROSSING US HIGHWAY 101 NORTH
BOUND AND SOUTH BOUND ON LYNN ROAD (CI
5660)
WHEREAS, the City of Thousand Oaks received project funding from the Active Transportation Program (ATP), Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ), and Transportation Development Act (TDA) for construction of Lynn Road Bike Lane and Pedestrian Improvements within the State of California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) right-of-way; and WHEREAS, the City desires that a Project Initiation Document (PID) be developed for the project. The PID will be a Project Study Report - Project Development Support (PSR-PDS); and
WHEREAS, Caltrans will be responsible for providing quality management; review of existing reports, data, studies, and mapping; and PID circulation, review, and approval; and
WHEREAS, the City will fund the cost of the PID preparation including the $150,000 estimated direct cost of engineering support performed by Caltrans, which will invoice the City; and
WHEREAS, Cooperative Agreement No. 07-5302 between the City and Caltrans covering the PID phase has been drawn for execution.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Thousand Oaks, that Cooperative Agreement No. 07-5302 be approved and executed.
