Subject: Item No. 10.A – Transition to District Elections Hearing #4 - District Boundary Maps and Sequencing of Elections
There was an error in uploading the demographic data sheet attached to Map 104 in Attachment #1 of the staff report for the above-captioned agenda item. The data sheet uploaded to the Agenda Packet had the Voting Age Population (VAP) data incorrectly labeled as Citizen VAP (CVAP) data. We were first alerted to the mislabeling error on the data sheets on June 22, 2023 and, in response, all of the data sheets associated with the maps were updated to correctly label VAP data as VAP data. As a result, the demographic data sheet attached to Map 104 that has been posted on the City’s website (maptoaks.org) for the entirety of the required review period correctly labeled the VAP data as VAP and not as CVAP.
Attached to this memo is Map 104 with the correctly labeled VAP on the demographic data sheet.
