It will turn into slum housing over time. It will down grade the community by over growth which the community can not handle.

The freeway intersections will be grossly impacted in which eventually you will try to expand the freeway entrance/ exits and over pass. Which will be horrific congestion and a huge mess no one has time to deal with. That will stretch on & on until completion 2 to 3 years past deadline.

My suggestion is getting the stop lights timed properly. Getting goats out on hills to eat over growth. Litter clean up. Tree trimming or removal of trees that are about to fall due to lack of water. Clean up over growth olarpund freeway on ramps. Some look horrible.

I've been here 50 years. Wendy dr & Borchard are already over congested and feel like freeways through 35mph zones which people speed through. It's only a matter of time before a student gets hit.

We also dont have enough space for extra students. How many kids you want to pack into these clsssrooms?Enough growth. Look at LA now! How long before it looks like that? We have homeless everywhere. Crime has SKYROCKETED.

Its loosing its charm fast. Is that build really best for this community? We need stuff to do. Places to eat. Not more people.

It only takes a few minutes to see that most of the retail space in NP is empty and IHop just closed. What possible retail shops are going to survive if what we already have can't make it? This is such a greed issue and has nothing to do with helping the community.

Julie Dimas Newbury Park 6 - Public Comments I am opposed to this item
I request that you remove the mixed use designation from the Borchard property and retain its residential designation until a site specific plan can be reviewed. By the way I have lived in this area for 25 years and watched the water rise and stay like a huge swamp on that property for a few years. I recommend you build nothing on it for safety reasons .

Conor Logan Newbury Park 6 - Public Comments I am opposed to this item
Fire evacuation routes in NP are already in the top 1% most dangerous in the state. Don’t put 1,100 new apts. between us and our evacuation onto Wendy or Borchard Rds.
