RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
THOUSAND OAKS ESTABLISHING NEW SALARY SCHEDULE
FOR SENIOR MANAGEMENT, CONFIDENTIAL, AND
SUPERVISORY EMPLOYEES [SENIOR MANAGEMENT
ASSOCIATION (SMA)] AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO.
2024-022
WHEREAS, SMA classification salary ranges were previously established by Resolution No. 2024-022; and
WHEREAS, Memorandum of Understanding provisions require that classification salary ranges be adjusted to incorporate salary adjustments.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Thousand Oaks as follows:
SECTION 1. This resolution shall rescind and supersede Resolution No. 2024-022 as to SMA members.
SECTION 2. The attached Salary Schedule (Exhibit A) be adopted which provides in part:
1. Add new Classifications effective July 5, 2025:
a. Assistant City Attorney – Litigator
b. Broadcast Media Supervisor
c. Building Official
d. Community Development Technician Supervisor
e. Deputy Community Services Director-City Librarian
f. Deputy Community Services Director-Community Services g. Deputy Community Services Director-Theatres
h. Deputy IT Director
i. Executive Office Manager
j. Info Technology Manager – Data and Innovation Series k. Info Technology Supervisor – Data Services
l. TOArts Administrator
2. Delete the following Classifications effective July 5, 2025:
a. Administrative Support Supervisor
b. Assistant to the City Manager/Communications
c. Community Development Operations Manager
d. Construction Inspection Supervisor
e. Deputy Cultural Affairs Director
f. Deputy Library Services Director

g. Support Services Supervisor
3. Internal Salary Range Adjustments effective July 5, 2025 for all Classifications moving from Range Numbers as listed in Exhibit B.
SECTION 3. Be it further resolved that the provisions of this Resolution shall become operative and in full force from and after July 5, 2025.
