RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF THOUSAND OAKS
APPROVING 2025 TITLE VI PLAN UPDATE
FOR THOUSAND OAKS TRANSIT
WHEREAS, Thousand Oaks Transit is the public transit operator for the City of Thousand Oaks, providing bus, Dial-A-Ride, and Americans with Disabilities (ADA) para-transit services to residents; and WHEREAS, the City of Thousand Oaks is required to update its adopted Title VI Plan every three years to continue to receive federal funding for transit services; and
WHEREAS, the City of Thousand Oaks previously adopted Title VI Plan updates in June 2018, September 2021 and May 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Thousand Oaks resolves as follows:
SECTION 1. Adopt the 2025 Title VI Plan Update as presented, and authorize staff to implement the recommended actions as outlined in the report prepared by Moore and Associates, Inc.
