Thousand Oaks 12A In favor Such an awesome, active opportunity for our community! Thousand Oaks 12A In favor The Conejo Valley has a rich climbing history, and local access to a world class gym like Sender One would help foster better community and better athletes for generations to come.

Agoura Hills 12A In favor Having a full height climbing gym in the area will be amazing. Definitely in favor of this and the business it will bring to TO.
12A In favor The additional of Sender One will add an important recreation option to Thousand Oaks that will be enjoyed by the community for years to come.
12A In favor I would love to have a new climbing gym for myself and my kids to attend in our local community! Kyle Pobirs Ventura 12A In favor I'm very excited for what a new climbing gym in Thousand Oaks can bring to the Janss Marketplace. I look forward to going there with my family and friends!
Karen Sinclair Ventura 12A In favor As a member of the rock climbing community, I am excited for the opportunities that Sender One will bring. This gym will provide opportunities for community, jobs, and recreation.

Kate Milford Newbury Park 12A In favor Please approve! This gym will be a great pillar and addition to our community! Mike Tsoi Thousand Oaks 12A In favor Allowing Sender One to make changes for a climbing gym would be something I would love to see. I'm already a member of Boulderdash gym but Sender One will expand the climbing community especially with Sender City for kids parties and events.

Tanner Koscinski Simi Valley 12A In favor As a very active member of the local climbing community, I was extremely excited when I heard Sender One is planning on building a new full service climbing gym in Thousand Oaks. Sender One LAX has the reputation of being the best climbing gym in Los Angeles County (out of the approximately 20 gyms in LA County), so the Ventura County climbing community is really looking forward to finally having a modern, state of the art climbing gym. There are currently only 2 climbing gyms in the entire county of Ventura, both of which are small and outdated gyms owned by Boulderdash, so some of the elite climbers will frequently make the long drive to Sender One LAX just to be able to train harder at a top tier climbing gym. While I love Boulderdash and have been climbing there regularly for the past 8 years, it's glaringly obvious that the lack of any nearby competition has allowed them to coast by on autopilot without needing to put any effort into keeping up with the times. When I went to Boulderdash Thousand Oaks 2 days ago, there was a bunch of termite poop on the floor right next to the beginner climbs where children climb, and when another member saw it, he said "this is yet another reason why I'm looking forward to Sender One opening". All of Sender One's gyms are very clean and professional, but Sender One doesn't just try to build climbing gyms, they want to build a community too, which is something that's really important to me. Sender One frequently has many different kinds of community events making sure all types of people are invited and included in their community, and they frequently host youth climbing competitions at their gyms (there's one next weekend at their Lakewood location). There are never youth climbing competitions at either of the Ventura county climbing gyms, and there are almost never any community events either.

Sender One Thousand Oaks will build the first modern climbing gym in Ventura County, and they will help strengthen and expand the climbing community, and it will probably even help bring more people to the Janss Marketplace. I think I speak for the overwhelming majority of the local climbing community when I say that we strongly support the opening of a new climbing gym in TO.

Westlake Village 12A In favor Sender one provides a positive rock climbing community for all experience levels.

Adam Galper 12A In favor Sender One Climbing will provide valuable recreation and fitness to a wide array of demographics from young kids to adults. A modern climbing gym is much needed in this area. Sender One has proven to be a gold standard for climbing gyms in Southern California.

Melanie Ware Thousand Oaks 12A In favor I would love to have a climbing gym of this caliber in this space. The only local one is pretty small and crowded.

Climbing is a fantastic way to meet people in the community and it also encourages people to be active outside as well.

The entire valley, from the ocean to the mountains, is well known for its outdoor climbing and having a gym like this would help bring in new demographics and ages. I am a middle school teacher and know plenty of kids who would love to have access to a space like this as well as my own friends and family who would gladly join.

Joshua Roth Agoura Hills 12A In favor I have been a lifelong climber and spent most of my youth climbing in the Santa Monica Mountains. Having Sender One in the Conejo Valley would mark a significant move for the future of climbing in the area as well as youth sports. Sender One has incredible youth programs, participate in local clean ups already and would be an incredible addition to Thousand Oaks and the greater community!
12A In favor There are tons of climbers in the area who would love this! 2
