RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF THOUSAND OAKS APPROVING
AND ADOPTING FILM PERMIT FEES
PURSUANT TO THOUSAND OAKS MUNICIPAL
CODE SECTION 4-8.06
WHEREAS, the City of Thousand Oaks requires a permit for commercial filming in accordance with Thousand Oaks Municipal Code (TOMC) Section 4-
8.03; and
WHEREAS, TOMC Section 4-8.06 authorizes the City to recover the cost of processing, issuing, and monitoring film permits; and WHEREAS, production companies will at times request to utilize City facilities or property for filming, staging, or parking; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish film permit fees and City property use fees which shall take effect on the thirty-first (31 st) day following the final passage and adoption of the ordinance repealing and replacing TOMC Section 4-8 et seq., and which shall remain in effect unless or until subsequently incorporated into the User Fee Manual or other fee schedule adopted by resolution of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with California Government Code Section 66016, the City Council caused notice of a public hearing on the matter to be published and made available to the public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Thousand Oaks as follows:
Section 1. Fees are subject to the adoption of the ordinance repealing and replacing TOMC Section 4-8 et seq., the following film permit fees shall apply in accordance with TOMC Section 4-8.06. Permit Fees and Cost Recovery:

Section 2. The Cultural and Community Services Director or designee is authorized to implement this fee schedule and make minor administrative adjustments as necessary to ensure full cost recovery.

Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect the thirty-first (31 st) day following the final passage and adoption of the ordinance repealing and replacing TOMC Section 4-8 et seq., and shall remain in effect unless or until subsequently incorporated into the User Fee Manual or other fee schedule adopted by resolution of the City Council.
