While we have extensive and valuable services for our seniors there is still so much yet to do for the older adults in our community. Over the past term / 2 years I have become far better informed about our the many valuable services available and the limits of their widespread awareness. After a foundational building term I believe another term would allow me to ‘scale’ my advocacy and delivery of services to those in need - as our older adults are now a significant segment of our community (and with progressively increasing dependencies) and are projected to approach 30% in this decade. Providing meaningful life-assistance to older adults has been deeply rewarding and I would like to continue and expand on reaching more of those in need.
