DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS:

Twenty-seven applications were received for the four scheduled vacancies.

Interviews were offered to all applicants and conducted on three dates: May 28, 2026; June 12, 2026; and June 16, 2026. Two applicants declined to interview, and one applicant did not respond to multiple invitations to participate.

The interview committee consisted of Mayor Pro Tem Engler and Councilmember Newman. Following review of the applications and completion of interviews, the interview committee recommends reappointing Joseph Donohue to serve a two- year term ending July 2028, and appointing Craig Glass, Maryjane Macleod, and Sheila Richards to serve two-year terms ending July 2028.
