Rick Schroeder, PresidenThousand Oaks 9 - Consent Calendar In favor 9(I)--Opportunity Zone 2.0-- As President of Many Mansions, a nonprofit affordable housing developer headquartered in the City of Thousand Oaks (and located in Census Tract 71), we strongly support the City's resolution to submit Census Tract 71 as a possible Opportunity Zone. Being designated as an 'Opportunity Zone' will open up possible federal and state funding for neighborhood revitalization and new affordable housing. Affordable housing located in designated Opportunities Zones has preference in tax credit and certain federal funding for development and service programs for existing residents of this census tract. I applaud the City's pro-active approach! Rick Schroeder
