Mayor Fredericks called the regular meeting of the Tiburon Town Council to order at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, in Town Council Chambers, 1505 Tiburon Boulevard, Tiburon, California.

Tiburon Town Council Minutes #15-2024 September 18, 2024 • Andrew Thompson wondered if the ponds would have to be regraded twice, depending on what recreational amenity ends up at the site.
• Carolyn Shadan spoke in support of the ponds closure project. • Robert Paul thought the ponds should be temporarily transitioned into beach volleyball courts to gauge interest instead of immediately filling them.
MOTION: To authorize: 1) the Town Manager to approve the award of contract for the RBSD Pond Closure Project to West Rock Engineering for $284,375; 2) the Town Manager to approve construction contract change orders up to 10%; 3) the Town Manager to approve the Construction Management Services Contract with EKI for $35,200; and 4) a FY 2025 Budget Amendment in the amount of $116,826 to fund the project ($101,943 from the RBSD Reserve Fund and $11,321 from the General Fund Operating Reserves).

PUBLIC HEARINGS
PH-1. 15 Turtle Rock Court – Consider approval of a Precise Plan Amendment to modify the building envelope to allow for a swimming pool and other improvements (Community Development Department)
MOTION: To adopt the resolution reaffirming that the project is exempt from CEQA and conditionally approving the amendment of the Perini Phase II Precise Development Plan for Lot 19.

TOWN COUNCIL REPORTS
Councilmember Nikfar reported on the recent Ranch Board meeting, including upcoming security camera upgrades and summer planning.
Mayor Fredericks expressed interest in adding regular reports from the various boards and commissions the Council members sit on.

None.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Town Council of the Town of Tiburon, Mayor Fredericks adjourned the meeting at 7:45 p.m.
