REGULAR MEETING
MINUTES
Mayor Welner called the regular meeting of the Tiburon Town Council to order at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, in Town Council Chambers, 1505 Tiburon Boulevard, Tiburon, California.

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
Colin Crawford requested a public meeting and review of Police Department policies related to the use of Flock ALPR cameras.
Michelle Fogelman requested the Council review the Tiburon Peninsula Club’s authority to have several loud events per year in a residential area.

CC-1. Town Council Minutes – Adopt minutes for the March 4, 2026 Town Council meeting (Office of the Town Clerk)

CC-3. Cypress Hollow Landscape & Lighting District – Adopt resolution that would approve the annual Engineer’s Report and declare intent to levy and collect assessments within the Landscape and Lighting District in the Cypress Hollow Subdivision and setting a time and place for the required public hearing (Department of Public Works)
CC-4. Municipal Code Amendments – Adopt ordinance making amendments to Chapter 16 (Zoning) of the Tiburon Municipal Code that would regulate Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) and Junior Accessory Dwelling Units (JADUs) (Community Development Department) CC-5. Vacancies on Town Boards & Commissions – Announce pending vacancies on the BelvedereTiburon Library Agency Board of Trustees and the Marin Commission on Aging (Office of the Town Clerk)

INFORMATIONAL ITEMS
I-1. Receive staff presentation and hear from interested parties on the application filed by Black Oak Ventures 1801 Tiburon LLC proposing a nine-unit residential small lot subdivision in a portion of the parking lot of the Point Tiburon Plaza, located behind 1801 and 1851 Tiburon Boulevard
Public comment was received by:
• Hank McWhinney expressed concern about toxic metals in the soil near the proposed building. • Dorene Curtis expressed concern about the height and fire safety. • Rob Rutledge said the project should be denied on multiple bases.
No action taken.
