DISCUSSION
Following the publication of the agenda item, staff was informed that the Torrance Rose Float Association (TRFA) revised the proposed float name. The original title, “Together We Thrive in Harmony,” included a trademarked phrase owned by Kaiser Permanente. To avoid potential trademark issues, the float has been renamed “Together in Harmony.” Staff has updated the attached Rose Parade float design rendering from Fiesta Parade Floats to reflect the new name.
