Following the publication of the original staff report, staff identified a scrivener’s error in which the contract number was incorrectly cited as Contract No. 2024-195. The correct contract number is Contract No. 2024-263. This correction is administrative in nature and does not alter the scope, terms, or dollar amount of the agreement previously approved by the City Council. Staff recommends that the City Council formally acknowledge and accept this correction to ensure the administrative record accurately reflects the approved contract.
Below is the updated recommendation for City Council’s consideration for the subject agenda item with the corrected contract number highlighted:
Recommendation of the General Services Director that City Council:
1. Approve a first amendment to the contract services agreement with Harry H. Joh Construction, Inc of Paramount, CA (C2024-262), in the amount of $1,250,000, for a new total amount of $2,000,000, for on-call general contracting services through Sourcewell for a three-year period beginning November 19, 2024 and ending June 30, 2027; and
2. Approve a first amendment to the contract services agreement with MDJ Management, LLC of El Segundo, CA, (C2024-263), in the amount of $1,250,000, for a new total amount of $2,000,000, for on call general contracting services through Sourcewell for a three-year period beginning November 19, 2024 and ending June 30, 2027; and
3. Approve a contract services agreement with Mackone Development, Inc. of Los Angeles, CA, in the amount of $1,000,000, for on-call general contracting services through Sourcewell for a three-year period beginning November 19, 2024 and ending June 30, 2027; and
4. Adopt a California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Categorical Exemption pursuant to Section 15301 (Existing Facilities).
