RESOLUTION NO. 2025-23
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE
REPORT OF THE ENGINEER IN CONNECTION WITH
THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF ASSESSMENTS
WITHIN CITY OF TORRANCE LIGHTING DISTRICT NO.
99-1 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026 PURSUANT TO THE
PROVISIONS OF PART 2 OF DIVISION 15 OF THE
STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE AND AS PROVIDED
BY ARTICLE XIII D OF THE CALIFORNIA CONSTITUTION
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1
The City Council of the City of Torrance, pursuant to the landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972, Part 2 of Division 15 of the California Streets and Highways Code (hereinafter referred to as the "Act"), did by previous resolution order the Engineer, RKA Consulting Group to prepare and file a written report in accordance with Article 4 of Chapter 1 of the Act in connection with the levy and collection of assessments against lots and parcels of land within the City of Torrance Lighting District No. 99-1 (hereinafter referred to as the "District") for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2026.
Section 2
The Engineer has prepared and filed with the City Clerk of the City of Torrance and the City Clerk has presented to the City Council such report entitled "City of Torrance Lighting District No. 99-1, 2025/2026 Engineer's Annual Levy Report" (the "Report").
Section 3
The City Council has carefully examined and reviewed the Report, and the Report is hereby approved as filed.
