I am an El Nido Park Resident for more than 30 years. I played baseball at North Torrance Little League 20+ years ago. Baseball is a fundamental sport to society and benefits kids of all ages. I am definitely for NTLL having a place to go and El Nido is a great park for this. El Nido used to have 2 backstops. My PRIMARY CONCERN is that parking is already a big issue in the park when busy as well as the El Nido Park Neighborhood. The parking lot needs to expanded somehow to accomadate more parking. Also the Old folks home on 186 st has no
pedestrian traffic able to walk to the park. THIS PROJECT NEEDS TO ACCOMADTE SOME SORT OF WALKING PATH FROM 186TH ST AND KINGSDALE AVE!! CAN THIS BE DONE ALL IN THE SAME PROJECT?? OR 2 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS WORKING TOGETHER?? THIS SHOULD BE 1 OF THE PRIMARY FOCUSES TO ADDRESS MULTIPLE ISSUES AT THE SAME TIME.
