Bridgett, I have been trying relentlessly to get my email letter sent and am not able to do so because of the user unfriendly 1 meeting portal system being used by the city. Robert Williams has been trying to assist all morning but I am at a loss and time is running short to get this letter sent. I am re-transcribing to you my letter in hopes you will be able to get it to the Mayor and each Council Member. It was also to be in the 10-F agenda packet for public viewing.

Hello, my name is Judith Simmons and I am a Torrance resident.
The Torrance Coyote Management Plan (TCMP) should be renewed. I will be looking forward to seeing your votes for continuing the plan.
I would like to bring attention to the exclusion of District 1, North Torrance, from the plan. As you are probably aware, coyote trapping is not being implemented for this area of the city. The residents in District 1 have expressed their dismay that coyote trapping does not include where they live. Many pets have been lost due to the infestation of coyotes. Businesses such as the plant nurseries, Edison rights away land, railroad properties and golf courses should routinely cull coyotes that live on these properties, but they don't. Revising the TCMP to include District 1 and also having businesses show the neighborhood's that they are good stewarts needs to be considered and implemented which hasn't been addressed in seven years.
Any successful program can be looked over periodically and improved to fit the needs of the community.
