RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation of the City Manager that City Council adopt a RESOLUTION amending Resolution No. 2024-69 for Certain Full-Time Salaried and Hourly Employees to add the Position of Media Production Supervisor.
FUNDING
None required.
DISCUSSION
On June 3, 2025, City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Operating Budget. One of the approved program modifications was to convert 1.0 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Cable Television Production Supervisor to 1.0 FTE Multimedia Production Coordinator. Upon further analysis, it has been determined that Media Production Supervisor is a more appropriate title and being recommended, which will be reflected in staffing tables accordingly going forward. In order to formally implement this approved conversion, the job specification needs to be added to the Certain Full-Time Salaried and Hourly Employees Resolution. This item is requesting City Council’s approval to amend Resolution No. 2024-69 to add the position of Media Production Supervisor. This is not a civil service position.

SECTION III SEVERABILITY
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase of this resolution is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of the resolution. The City Council hereby declares that it would have passed this resolution and each section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses, or phrases be declared invalid or unconstitutional.
