A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TORRANCE HONORING
KENNETH EVANS
UPON HIS RETIREMENT FROM THE CITY
AFTER FORTY-THREE YEARS OF SERVICE
WHEREAS, Kenneth Evans began his career with the City of Torrance on August 9, 1982, as a Water Service Helper for Engineering – Water Operations, what is now the Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, Kenneth was promoted to the position of Water Meter Reader on August 21, 1983; and
WHEREAS, Kenneth was promoted to the position of Water Service Technician on July 8, 1984; and
WHEREAS, Kenneth was promoted to the position of Water System Operator II on July 7, 1999; and
WHEREAS, Kenneth has shown exceptional skill, dedication, and leadership in all areas of Water Operations, serving as a mentor and role model to his colleagues while providing outstanding service to the City . His professionalism, strong work ethic and commitment to excellence have left a lasting impact on the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Torrance, California does hereby commend, honor, and congratulate
KENNETH EVANS
for his dedication, professionalism, and contributions to the City of Torrance while in our employ; and, be it further resolved, that Kenneth be wished a full and rewarding life in his retirement years.
