Re: Comment on the 3475 Torrance Boulevard Mixed-Use Project (CUP24- 00028; DVP24-00004)

Dear Mayor Chen, Honorable Members of the Torrance City Council, Ms. Poirier, and Ms.

Allen:

This comment is submitted on behalf of appellant Supporters Alliance for Environmental Responsibility (“SAFER”). After reviewing the report provided by City staff in preparation for the February 24, 2026, appeal hearing, SAFER has no objections to the resolutions provided in the staff report. For this reason, SAFER will not be attending the February 24, 2026, appeal hearing.

Sincerely,

Richard Drury
