A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TORRANCE HONORING
ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES MANAGER
CHRISTY WITHERSPOON
UPON HER RETIREMENT FROM THE CITY
AFTER TWENTY-TWO YEARS OF SERVICE
WHEREAS, Christy Witherspoon began her career with the City of Torrance as a Records Supervisor on the 18th of February 2003; and
WHEREAS, Christy’s successful career with the City of Torance began when she was hired as a Records Supervisor, and her exceptional supervisory skills allowed her to quickly promote to the position of Records Administrator . After a job reclassification, Christy retired from the City as an Administrative Services Manager; and
WHEREAS, Christy embodied the Department ’s Core Values of Service, Pride, Integrity, Compassion, and Excellence. Christy’s clear and effective communication along with her ability to adapt in a dynamic environment, fostered an engaged work environment in the Records Division. Christy’s unwavering commitment to performance made her one of the best Administrative Services Managers the Records Division has ever had; and
WHEREAS, Christy has provided 22 years of dedicated service to the City of Torrance and has unselfishly used h er many skills for the benefit of the Police Department and the citizens of Torrance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Torrance, California, does hereby commend, honor, and congratulate ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
MANAGER
CHRISTY ANITA WITHERSPOON
for h er dedication, professionalism, and contributions to the City of Torrance while in our employ; and, be it further resolved , that she be wished a full and rewarding life in h er retirement years.
