4A. Fire - Accept and File the Torrance Fire Department Annual Quality Improvement Update Report for 2025, and the SB Compliance Report for 2025. Expenditure: None Recommendation of the Fire Chief that the Employee Relations and Public Safey Committee:
1. Accept and file the Torrance Fire Department Annual Quality Improvement Update Report for 2025; and
2. Accept and file the SB1205 Compliance Report for 2025; and
3. Concur with the Fire Chief and forward a recommendation to the City Council to Accept and File the Torrance Fire Department Annual Quality Improvement Update Report for 2025, the receipt of SB1205 Compliance Report for 2025, and Accept and File the meeting minutes from the July7, 2026 Employee Relations and Public Safety Committee at a future City Council meeting.
4B. Fire -- Accept and File the Torrance Fire Department Cardiac Arrest Task Force - The Torrance Plan.
Expenditure: None
Recommendation of the Fire Chief that the Employee Relations and Public Safety Committee:
1. Accept and file the Torrance Department Cardiac Arrest Task Force – The Torrance Plan; and
2. Concur with the Fire Chief and forward a recommendation to the City Council to Accept and File the Torrance Fire Department Cardiac Arrest Task Force – The Torrance Plan, and Accept and File the meeting minutes from the July 7, 2026 Employee Relations and Public Safety Committee at a future City Council meeting.
